In Hindu mythology, Ganesha is the son of Shiva and Parvati. He is also known as the Vighneshvara, which means "lord of obstacles". The placement of Lakshmi on the right side of Ganesha is said to represent the balance between material and spiritual wealth. Ganesha represents the spiritual side of life, while Lakshmi represents the material side. By placing Lakshmi on the right side of Ganesha, it is believed that one can achieve a balance between these two aspects of life.
